Personal Property Memorandum

Your Living Trust, or your Will, may direct that your personal effects (jewelry, collectibles, household furnishings, etc.) be distributed according to your wishes if you have made your wishes known in writing during your life. A Personal PropertyMemorandum can be used to direct the Trustee of your trust, or the Executor appointed under your Will, to distribute your personal effects to your loved ones. If you change your mind about a distribution of personal property after you complete a Personal Property Memorandum you can simply destroy the old form and execute a new one.
